This job incumbent is responsible for administration functions as it relates to the internal processing and issuance of inventory in a timely and efficient manner.
Principal Accountabilities
Accurate and timely processing of returns, sample requests, stock requisitions and transfers to meet and satisfy stakeholders interests as defined in the above job summary/scope
Processing of Samples’ Requests for Customers
- Verify all criteria on Samples Request Forms
- Picking of Samples/Goods to fulfil Sample Request
- Verify that goods picked for Samples are accurate and in good condition
- Accurate data entry of Sample Requests into ERP software to complete the request
- Coordinate delivery requests of Samples to Customers
Processing of Returns
- Issuance of Material Return Authorization (MRA) number
- Verification and processing of MRA documentation
- Physical verification of MRA items
- Processing of Outlet(s) stock replenishment requests (documentation only)
- Generating inventory transfers
- Assist and ensure efficient verification of incoming shipments/packages
- Filing and maintenance of records/documents
- Identify non-conforming inventory found in Active Inventory
- Assist with the execution of fiscal year end stock count in accordance with procedures outlined by Management
- Wear proper safety equipment, adhere to safety rules of the environment
- Ad hoc reporting
- All other reasonably related responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications and Experience
- 5 CXC /GCE passes
- Diploma or equivalent tertiary education in Business Administration, Supply Chain or other related discipline
- At least three (3) years’ relevant experience working in a Supply Chain/ Warehouse environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Supply Chain/Warehouse processes – Inventory Management
- Knowledge of HSE
- Proficiency in ERP software
- ACCA level 1
- An acceptable combination of academic qualifications and work experience may be considered in lieu of minimum requirements.
