Job Summary
CVM Television is seeking a results-driven Sales Representative responsible for generating advertising revenue across CVM TV, the CVM digital app, and CVMTV.com. The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, maintain strong client relationships, and develop integrated advertising solutions that help clients reach their target audiences across television and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and secure new advertising clients for television and digital platforms
- Develop and present advertising proposals tailored to client needs
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Maintain an active pipeline of prospects and opportunities
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Conduct regular client meetings and presentations
- Provide excellent after-sales support to ensure client satisfaction
- Identify upselling opportunities across TV, website, and mobile platforms
Advertising & Campaign Management
- Coordinate advertising schedules with programming and traffic teams
- Ensure advertisements are delivered according to agreed schedules
- Monitor campaign performance and provide feedback to clients
- Recommend cross-platform advertising strategies
Market Intelligence
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities
- Identify emerging advertising opportunities
- Provide feedback on pricing and packaging strategies
Administrative Duties
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts
- Maintain accurate client records in the CRM system
- Assist in developing sponsorship packages and rate cards
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field (or currently pursuing)
- Experience in media sales or advertising sales would be an asset
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of digital media and advertising trends
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
