Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations to ensure that all equipment, facilities, and systems are functioning efficiently and safely. This role involves planning and coordinating preventive maintenance schedules, assigning tasks to technicians and contractors and monitoring progress to minimize downtime.

Job Requirements/Specifications:

Education/Training

• First Degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering
• Training in monitoring/managing air-conditioning, electrical, or plumbing systems in a commercial building

Specific Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of building trades and maintenance practices
• Familiarity with occupational health regulations and safety standards

Skills and Specialized Techniques

• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Skilled negotiator with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Competence with Microsoft applications excel and word

Experience

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience managing solar systems would be an asset
