An investment and financial services company in Kingston, Jamaica is seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Corporate Finance Specialist to support and execute corporate finance transactions, investment analysis, and capital-raising initiatives.
About the Role
This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong technical expertise and a passion for deal execution, investment evaluation, and client engagement. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting transactions, conducting financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute internal processes to optimize deal transactions and ensure timely completion
- Assist in structuring and executing investment and capital market transactions
- Manage subscription processes and investor onboarding activities
- Analyze investment opportunities and assess financial viability
- Develop financial models and provide risk and return recommendations
- Prepare detailed investment reports and supporting documentation
- Conduct due diligence on clients, partners, and investment opportunities
- Prepare and review regulatory and transaction documentation
- Support capital raising activities including equity and debt offerings
- Prepare investor presentations, pitch decks, and marketing materials
- Liaise with banks, brokers, advisors, and regulatory bodies
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless transaction execution
- Engage clients and provide guidance on investment strategies
- Support business development and client presentations
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Professional certification (CFA, ACCA, CPA) is an asset
- 3–5 years’ experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or financial advisory
- Strong knowledge of capital markets and financial instruments
