Events
Tai Flora Services Ltd. designs and set up different types of events managed by Setup / Break Down Event
Manager. These events include weddings, corporate functions such as conference and trade shows, charity fundraisers, municipal festivals and multiple other events.
Core Responsibilities
Event setup and breakdown are done under the exact directions of the Event Manager. The Event Manager will give directions such as, but not limited to:
- the loading and off- loading of trucks
- building out the frame configuration for events
- setting up tables and chairs
- helping with AV/ lighting equipment and hanging signs
- the placement of decor elements and furniture.
- overseeing the set up/breakdown of events done by the event attendants
- taking inventory of all items and packing them so they are ready for easy use at the next event
- examine inventory items after the event to make sure everything is returned intact.
On-Site Management
- Ensure that items are set-up based on the company standards.
- As a site manager, you’ll be required to do some physical work, directing and monitoring others.
Planning
As Events Manager, you will sit in on planning meetings. This will allow you to make sure the organizers include everything you need for you and your crew to get your job done.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise all event setups and breakdown.
- Account for all physical inventories and report an a worksheet on daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Verify all closing inventory values and update reports
- Pre-plan for replacement of lost or damaged items for future events.
- Investigate and resolve any inventory variances.
- Staffing of all event set-up / breakdown
- Responsible for assisting with physical inventories of month-end in warehouses
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
