Accounts Analyst
Role Summary
The Accounts Analyst will perform assigned accounting functions, conduct analysis, and carry out reviews to support the Group Financial Reporting function. In addition, he/she will execute and assess account reconciliations, prepare submissions to government institutions and support industrial controlling and treasury management functions.
Summary of Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Performs accounting functions including executing detailed analyses to guide decision-making.
- Assists with submissions for Group Financial Reporting.
- Carries out reviews to ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
- Assists with the adherence/maintenance of financial and internal controls.
- Ensures compliance with accounting standards and Group policies.
- Executes and assesses key account reconciliations.
- Prepares and ensures accuracy of submissions to government
- institutions.
- Provides support across industrial controlling and treasury management functions.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required
- A Degree in Accounting/Finance
- Pursuing a Professional Accounting Designation (i.e. attainment of at least level one)
- Minimum of three to five years experience in an accounting or auditing role
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, SAP)
