We are currently looking for anExecutive Housekeeperto lead the Housekeeping department and ensure operational excellence across the property.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the Housekeeping department.
- Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across guest rooms and public areas.
- Address and resolve guest concerns related to housekeeping services.
- Train, supervise, and develop the Assistant Housekeeper and departmental staff.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Monitor operational performance indicators and departmental efficiency.
- Manage linen inventory, cleaning supplies, and departmental budgets.
- Ensure proper handling of chemicals, equipment, and housekeeping supplies.
- Oversee staff scheduling and attendance monitoring.
- Conduct inspections of rooms, public areas, storage areas, and cleaning procedures.
- Ensure compliance with environmental practices and recycling procedures.
- Maintain effective communication within the team and across departments.
Requirements for a strong fit
- Technical degree or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Housekeeping Manager in a 600-room hotel, or 5 years as a Floor Supervisor or Assistant Housekeeper.
- Experience leading and supervising large housekeeping teams.
- Knowledge of chemical handling, inventory control, and preventive maintenance.
- Familiarity with hotel systems (Prestige preferred) and operational tools.
- Strong organizational skills, operational planning, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of cleanliness standards in luxury or 5-star hotels is highly desirable.
