Job Summary
The Quality Management Technician is responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS). The role involves monitoring compliance, maintaining documentation, conducting inspections, and assisting with audits to ensure that operations meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards
- Conduct inspections and quality checks on processes, materials, and outputs
- Maintain accurate quality records, reports, and documentation
- Support internal and external audits, including preparation and follow-up actions
- Identify non-conformances and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to improve quality performance
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality assurance programs
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in quality assurance, quality control, or related roles
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001)
- Experience in industrial, oil & gas, or manufacturing environments is an asset
