The Laundry Manager is responsible for overseeing all laundry operations at Royalton Grenada, ensuring the delivery of high-quality laundry services to guests and staff. The role involves managing staff, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards to provide a seamless and efficient laundry experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily laundry operations, including washing, drying, ironing, folding, and distribution.
• Manage and train laundry staff to ensure productivity and high standards of service.
• Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and detergents; order supplies as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry facilities.
• Ensure all laundry equipment is properly maintained and serviced regularly.
• Implement and adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to meet operational needs.
• Monitor quality control to ensure guest and staff laundry needs are met with excellence.
• Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Prepare reports on laundry operations, including productivity and inventory.
• Handle guest complaints or issues related to laundry services promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or certification in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in laundry operations, preferably in a hotel/resort.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of laundry chemicals, fabrics, and machinery.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with eco-friendly laundry practices.
• Familiarity with hotel management software.
