Head Office in Stony Hill, Kingston, with regular project visits/ meetings across the island

Role Purpose

The Financial Data and Cost Control Analyst supports the Financial Controller in all aspects of cost control and financial data management for VINCI Construction Grands Projets Branch in Jamaica. The role focuses on construction project activities and support services, ensuring data is prepared, presented, and analyzed to optimize costs and support decision‑making.

Duties

Data Preparation

• Collect, organize, and validate cost data from construction projects and support departments.

• Prepare detailed cost reports and datasets for monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews.

• Support preparation of budgets, cost estimates, and financial models.

Data Presentation

• Develop dashboards and visual reports using Power BI.

• Present key cost metrics for management and project teams.

• Prepare schedules and visuals for project reviews and reporting.

Data Analysis

• Analyze cost data to identify trends and variances.

• Support teams in implementing corrective actions.

Applications Analyst

• Drive adoption of applications to streamline financial and HR processes.

• Understand business requirements for software use.

• Coordinate implementation and train users.

• Provide ongoing support to users.

Additional Responsibilities

• Ensure data integrity and strong information flow.

• Support Financial Controller with cost‑related requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, data analytics, engineering, or related field.

• 2–5 years of experience in cost control or financial data management.

• Experience with ERP systems, HRIS, and data visualization tools.

• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office.
