SENIOR MANAGER, TOTAL REWARDS
The successful candidate will be responsible for advising on the best practices for total reward processes. This includes the planning, designing, and implementation of compensation and benefit programmes. He/she will manage and collaborate with internal and external partners on the devising of new and existing total reward schemes and implement changes where necessary.
Requirements/duties of the position include:
- Leading the development, implementation, and administration of the Compensation & Strategy Framework, which includes compensation and benefits programmes, policies, and procedures.
- Designing, evaluating, and implementing organisation’s benefits programme to ensure they remain current, competitive, and in compliance with all policies and guidelines.
- Leading the negotiation and administration of the organisations group benefit plans
- Managing benefits administration includes claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, and annual re-evaluation of policies for cost effectiveness.
- Reconciling, processing, and completing audits of the organizations benefits programmes.
- Managing and collaborating with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure that all programs support the efforts to cultivate a diverse, talented, and engaged workforce.
- Serving as a point of contact and subject matter expert for total rewards and, in particular, compensation design and administration issues
- Conducting research into best-practice total reward schemes, reviewing existing schemes, and identifying areas of improvement
- Directing the preparation and distribution of written communication to inform team members of benefits, compensation, and related policies and programs
- Ensuring reward programs are in compliance with regulation and local legislation as required
- Ensuring appropriate training and communication materials are developed and distributed as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 4-6 years of compensation & benefits experience, with a high degree of regional/international exposure in a multicultural environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Management Studies, or a related field.
- Desired professional experiences include:
- Knowledge of statutory compensation and benefit requirements across the Caribbean.
- Experience in total rewards communications, including statements and other tools to communicate the overall value of the company’s compensation and benefits programmes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
