QNET, a subsidiary of the Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union League Group (and part of the Credit Union Movement), provides IT solutions including Software Development, Website Hosting, Professional services, etc. We are seeking to engage a highly confidential and professional individual to fill the position of Executive Assistant at our Ruthven Road Office.
The Role:
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Assistant is responsible for the following:
- Providing high level administrative support to the CEO’s office to facilitate the achievement of key tasks and organizational initiatives
- General office management which includes appointment scheduling, preparing reports, presentations, minutes and other documents for review
- Handling correspondence and information requests
- Planning and coordination of meetings, travel and other events
- Organizing and facilitating communication both internally and externally
- Ensuring proper creation and maintenance of corporate files
- Assisting with the preparation of budgets and the drafting of policies and procedures
- Acting as a secretariat for the Board
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Administrative Management/Business Administration or other related discipline from a recognised institution
- Two (2) years’ work experience in a similar position
Knowledge, Skills, Competences, and Personal Attributes:
- Ability to record and transcribe accurate, concise minutes of meetings
- Basic Information Technology knowledge
- Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written
- A team player who can adhere to a fast-paced environment
- Willingness and ability to undertake training needed to fulfil the changing requirements of the job
- Resourceful and results-oriented
