Base Salary Range- $5,000.00 - $6,000.00 per month
Commission- 2.5% of Sales in Excess of $100,00. 00 (payable upon collections).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish, develop, and maintain strong business relationships with automotive parts retailers, service centres, and other trade outlets.
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable automotive lubricant products.
- Service existing accounts while actively identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Plan and organise daily work schedules to call on existing and potential customers.
- Tailor sales presentations based on the type of customer or sales outlet.
- Submit customer orders and follow up to ensure deliveries are completed within promised timelines.
- Collect payments on outstanding invoices and report delinquent accounts to the Finance Department for recovery.
- Submit regular reports on sales activities, territory performance, and customer engagement.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity, including pricing, products, and delivery schedules.
- Recommend product or service improvements based on customer and market feedback.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating issues and providing effective solutions.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through training, workshops, and industry networking.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to achieve sales targets.
- Participate in trade shows, promotional events, and other marketing activities as required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of five (5) CXC O' Level passes, including Mathematics and English.
- Minimum five (5) years' sales experience in the automotive industry, preferably selling automotive parts, lubricants, or related aftermarket products.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience calling on automotive parts retailers, mechanics, service centres, or distributors will be a strong advantage.
- Existing relationships within the automotive aftermarket sector would be considered an asset.
- Valid national driver's licence.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of automotive lubricants and parts is an asset.
