We are currently seeking a qualified professional who endorses this mission to join the team as the Chief Operating Officer (COO). The successful candidate must possess significant leadership experience with a minimum of five (5) years hands-on management and supervisory experience, preferably in a healthcare or related setting.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will serve as the key business driver for the growth and overall success of the medical practices. He/She shall direct the development and establishment of adequate and equitable personnel policies throughout the organization; provide a strong day-to-day leadership presence for all staff and support an open-door policy, inclusiveness and transparency, ensuring that the interests and welfare of employees are preserved and protected at all times.
Key Requirements
- Education at the Master's level or above is required along with at least five years of operational and staff management experience. Hospital or clinical environment experience is strongly preferred, as is proficiency in revenue cycle management and electronic claims processing.
- A strategic and results oriented focus along with a proven track record of exceeding goals and encouraging performance excellence in others. Prior knowledge and understanding of the business of medicine is key to success in the role.
- High level of business acumen including understanding of budgets, financial statements, business planning and ability to oversee the management of operational expenses
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships across various stakeholder groups including employees, relevant agencies, vendors and the public.
- A progressive management style which focuses on people development, engagement and advancement
- Proficiency with the MS Office applications. Knowledge of Cerner Healthcare is advantageous.
- Must be willing to work extended hours as required to meet the needs of the business.
