Job Summary
As Terminal Manager, you oversee the safe and efficient reception of fuel vessels, manage fuel stock levels and inventory, and coordinate all fuel loading operations to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. You also lead and manage terminal staff, providing direction, training, and performance oversight to maintain smooth daily operations and achieve operational targets, while reporting directly to the Operations Manager on all terminal performance, stock status, safety incidents, and operational KPIs.
Key deliverables will include but not limited to:
- Enforcing the ZERO ACCIDENT policy objective in Rockfort Terminal and conduct toolbox meetings.
- Fuel/Ethanol Vessels Reception:
l Ensure all Fuels are received in a timely and safe manner, and within the expected quality specifications
l Review, Approve & Publish reports for the receipt of product volumes to the Rockfort Terminal
- Stock Management:
l Review & Approve daily Fuels inventory reports and ensure the variances are within the Company Loss/Gain Tolerances, or justify and propose immediate correctives actions
l Review, Approve & Publish to throughput partners Fuels weekly inventory reports
l Review, Approve & Publish to the Finance department & throughput partners Fuels monthly inventory reports
- Fuel Loading:
l Ensure the Fuels trucks are loaded in a timely and safely manner (starting at 6:00am from Monday to Saturday)
l Ensure the trucks are correctly loaded and report immediately any quantity discrepancy (over/under loading)
l Ensure the documentation is correctly filled and trucks sealed
- Staff Management:
l Direct report: 2 staffs ; Total staff reporting: 8
l Ensure the overtime is within the approved budget
l Conduct the mid-year and annual performance evaluations of the reporting staffs and issue annual performance objectives
l Develop the training schedules as per the need
Minimum Qualification & Experience
l Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (MBA would be an asset).
l Minimum of ten (10) years’ relevant experience in a similar technical and/or operational environment.
l Demonstrated experience managing at least two (2) direct reports and overseeing a team of eight (8) or more staff members.
l Proven experience in inventory control, reconciliation, and reporting practices, with strong analytical and systems capabilities.
