DRIVER – TRUCK (LMO/TS6)
Job Summary
Reporting to the Distribution Supervisor the incumbent provides support to the Warehouse and Distribution Department through the transportation of raw materials and other supplies from suppliers to the head office and rural plants as required in order to facilitate timely and efficient production

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the proper handling and transportation of raw materials and supplies from suppliers in accordance to the food storage and prevention of infestation regulations
- Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver raw materials and supplies
- Ensure that the company truck is serviced regularly, in a road worthy condition at all times and notify Supervisor of any issues
- Ensure that the company truck is kept in a sanitary condition to transport raw material when necessary.
- Maintain driver logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
- Verify loads for accuracy and make deliveries as instructed
o Follow all NPL Operational Procedures and QC Standards
- Adhere to all safety requirements when operating the company truck
- Adherence to all road codes
- The vehicle must be kept clean, both internally and externally, at all times.
- Absolutely no eating, drinking, or smoking is permitted in the vehicle.
- Regular cleaning and checks should be carried out to ensure the vehicle remains in good condition.
- Any damages, malfunctions, or maintenance needs must be promptly reported to the relevant department.
- No unauthorized passengers are allowed in the vehicle
o Follow delivery/pickup instructions from the manager of the Warehouse and Distribution Department and other managers as the case warrants.
- Maintain ongoing communication with Warehouse Supervisor
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor
Minimum Qualification

- Secondary education
- General Drivers Licence
- At least three years accident-free driving, operating a truck
- Possess Drivers Licence to operate vehicles with unladen weight of 7,170 kilogram or more, and laden weight of 12,272 kilograms or more.

Working Conditions
- Manual/physical efforts – carrying supplies, bending, stretching, twisting and sit for long periods of time during daily routine
- Outdoor environment – inclement weather, sun, dust, etc.
- Occasional irregular hours (night and weekends)

Salary: $53,919.00 per week
