GCG Group Jamaica is a member of the GCG Group which operates in 21 countries across the US, Caribbean, Central and South America. We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join the team in the capacity of Food Production Planner for our Montego Bay operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring material usage, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products while minimizing waste and maintaining high operational standards.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production order lists in SAP in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Monitor production activities to ensure proper use of materials and support waste reduction initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production orders, consumption levels, and inventory usage within SAP.
- Troubleshoot production planning issues and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
ACADEMIC & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- A technical degree in Culinary Arts, Food Production, or Logistics.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in large-scale food production.
- SAP or ERP experience is a plus (MTI/PTP modules preferred).
- Strong understanding of technical recipes and production standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and planning skills
