Job Title: Accounting Assistant
Salary: $7000.00 - 9000.00
Location: Point Lisas
Contract: Short Term
Core Duties
Carrying out all functions related to Accounts Receivables including but not limited to:
- Management of customer portal
- Preparation of quotations and invoices to customers
- Processing of service jobs journals immediately after processing sales invoices
- Managing of collections:
- ensuring that customer’s pay as per agreed terms
- following up with customers on collections
- issuing letters to delinquent customers
- Preparation of bank deposits
- Receive, review and balance daily sales from the Stores
- Depositing cash
- Preparing monthly accounting reports
- Review of the Accounts Receivables ledgers
- Assist the Finance/Accounting department in any other related duties, as requested by Management
Qualifications & Experience
- CAT, ACCA Level 1 or pursuing ACCA Level 3 or equivalent accounting education.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite – particularly Word and Excel
- 3 years’ experience in Accounting, particularly Accounts Receivables
- Experience using SAP would be an asset
