Overview
This role supports brewing, cellar, packaging, cleaning, and general brewery activities. Prior brewing experience is not required; however, candidates must demonstrate technical aptitude, reliability, and the ability to follow established procedures consistently.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with brewing and cellar operations under supervision
• Perform cleaning and sanitation of brewhouse, fermentation vessels, bright tanks, hoses, pumps, and kegs
• Support packaging operations including kegging, filling, washing, and material handling
• Handle raw materials, chemicals, and finished goods safely and accurately
• Set up and operate basic brewery equipment such as pumps, valves, hoses, and connections
• Follow written standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and quality standards
• Maintain accurate production, cleaning, and inventory records
• Assist with routine inspections, housekeeping, and general brewery upkeep
• Support other production and warehouse duties as required
Required Skills and Experience
• Technical, mechanical, electrical, industrial, or manufacturing background preferred
• Experience in food & beverage production, manufacturing, or industrial operations is an advantage
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and repeat processes consistently
• Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and quality
• Physically capable of lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing manual tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and disciplined
• Willingness to learn commercial brewing operations
Working Conditions
• Physical, hands-on production role
• Exposure to machinery, noise, cleaning chemicals, and temperature variations
• Shift work may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
