- Time Management - manage GM's calendar to ensure that all appointments are kept, schedules are aligned; log meeting requests; issue reminders. Fpcus should be on maintaining a balance between all the various demands on the GM"s time
- Communication Management - Working within the agreed protocols about managing communication, electronically or physically, information must be dissemanated to the GM in a timely manner, with due process and reminders established, as required.
- Operations Support - Discuss key deliverables for all reports; liaise and follow-up with other departments to ensure that reports or other required documents are presented in a timely manner,
- Inter-department Liaison - Familiarize self with policies and procedures to be able to prepare documentation for GM's review and/or approval
- Research - conducting research, proactively and as required, ensuring that information for presented is from valid, legal sources
- Pre and post meeting activities to be completed in a timely manner, ensuring that all relavant parties are prepared and information dissemanated, post meeting and following-up on deliverables and the deadlines.
- Logistics - arrange logistics for island-wide travel for Restaurant visits or other business purposes, including overseas travel.
- Information management - the highest level of confidentiality must be consistently maintained, based on the calibre of information that goes across the General Manager's desk.
- Maintain an electronic filing system
- Participate in intercompany projects
Minimum qualifications required:
At least four (4) years experience working with Senior Executives
B. Sc. in Management Studies and/or Business Administration
Professional certification in Business and Administrative Management
Proficiency in Microsoft and Google suite of products; working knowledge of Power BI would be asset
Proven organizational skills and high levels of confidentiality
