The role focuses on accurate order generation, merchandising compliance, territory growth, and coordination with the delivery team to ensure timely, complete order fulfillment.
Core Responsibilities
1. Sales & Order Management
- Execute planned retail visits and capture accurate customer orders.
- Recommend appropriate product mixes and upselling new or promotional items.
- Monitor stock levels to minimize out‑of‑stocks and expiries.
2. Merchandising & In‑Store Execution
- Maintain shelf standards and brand visibility.
- Secure secondary displays and ensure proper product rotation (FIFO/FEFO).
- Track competitor activity and report insights.
3. Customer Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with store owners and managers.
- Resolve product, service, and billing inquiries promptly.
- Support execution of in‑store promotions.
4. Target Achievement & Growth
- Achieve monthly volume, revenue, and distribution targets.
- Expand active outlet base and increase SKU penetration.
- Support promotions and new product launches.
5. Delivery Coordination
- Align daily with delivery personnel to ensure orders are delivered in full and on time.
- Follow up on shortages, damages, returns, and credit issues.
- Support collections where required.
6. Reporting & Administration
- Submit accurate reports on orders, visits, and merchandising.
- Maintain updated customer profiles and outlet segmentation.
- Participate in meetings, training, and field coaching.
