Overview
Profiles Caribbean Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Legal Secretary to join our client’s dynamic team, a medium-sized law firm specializing in personal injury and diverse areas of civil law. The ideal candidate must be able to excel in a fast-paced environment.
Summary of Primary Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to attorneys and paralegals.
- Preparing, drafting, and proofreading legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings.
- Managing attorneys' calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
- Organizing and maintaining client files and legal records with strict confidentiality.
- Assisting with billing processes, timekeeping, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Summary of Qualifications Requirements
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years in a Legal Secretary role.
- Technical Proficiency: Competence in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software applications.
- Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of legal terminology, documentation, and procedures.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple deadlines efficiently.
