Responsibilities of Position
- Provide specialized nursing (surgery) care to critically ill patients, ensuring clinical excellence in Pre and Postoperative recovery, ICU as well as Med/Surg settings.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, ventilator support, and perform advanced treatments.
- Perform continuous monitoring and assessment of vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient progress.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, intensivists, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Act swiftly in emergency situations (ALS/BLS), initiate and assist in code blue and rapid response scenarios.
- Educate patients and families about the plan of care and provide emotional support during crisis situations.
- Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and ethical standards, and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and experience required:
- Valid and in good standing Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- BLS and ACLS certification (Required).
- Critical Care Nursing Certification (CCRN) or equivalent a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Med/Surg or Critical Care nursing.
- Experience with ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and emergency interventions preferred.
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems a plus.
