The Role
Reporting to the Director of Learning & Talent Development, this position manages recruitment, develops talent pipelines, and designs employee development programmes to support a skilled workforce. It collaborates with department heads on staffing needs, implements sourcing strategies, and uses innovative assessments to identify top candidates. Key responsibilities also include overseeing onboarding, facilitating training, tracking employee progress, and ensuring goals align with organisational objectives. The role promotes continuous learning and engagement to help drive success and maintain a competitive advantage.
- Use data-driven insights to monitor recruitment metrics and deliver actionable insights to management.
- Ensure compliance with labour regulations and company policies.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
- Design, implement, and manage training programmes, leadership development and employee growth initiatives.
- Design and maintain an annual workforce plan.
- Coach leaders on goal-setting and evaluations for learning plans, recognition and progression decisions.
- Build talent dashboards and provide actionable insights to executive leadership team.
- Diagnose cultural gaps and promote positive behaviours that drive productivity.
- Identify people risks and work with internal audit/risk to ensure mitigations are completed.
Preferred Profile
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Organisational Development, Business or related field.
- Professional certification (SHRM-CP, CIPD, PHRi, etc.) is an asset.
- Training in coaching, organisational development, or assessment is a plus.
- 5-7 years' experience in HR with solid exposure to talent acquisition, learning and development.
- Experience in a transforming or capability constrained environment along with supporting performance management and culture change initiatives.
- Exposure to employer branding or workforce planning.
