Join Our Team as a Production Supervisor!
Are you a natural leader with a knack for optimizing production processes and a passion for ensuring quality in every product? We’re looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team and oversee our ice cream manufacturing operations. This role is integral to upholding our commitment to quality, safety, and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive Efficiency: Monitor production lines closely to minimize downtime, achieve production targets, and constantly improve processes.
- Manage & Lead: Oversee rostering, authorize time off, manage employee timecards, and make decisions on overtime.
- Collaborate: Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Warehousing, Distribution, and Planning teams to ensure smooth, efficient operations.
- Ensure Compliance: Uphold safety and quality standards, adhering to QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental) policies and regulations.
- Optimize Resources: Efficiently utilize labour and materials, oversee production schedules, and ensure all documentation is timely and accurate.
- Quality Assurance: Validate product quality at every step, ensuring that all goods meet required standards and specifications.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
- Formulate daily production schedules and align with team members.
- Manage inventory, verify raw material availability, and ensure quality standards are met.
- Enforce company policies, maintain a safe work environment, and report incidents promptly.
- Execute ERP transactions for production orders and ensure smooth ERP integration.
- Lead regular warehouse assessments and report weekly on production performance.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Strong Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing teams and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of milk-based production, pasteurization, homogenization, and filtration.
- Analytical Abilities: Ability to identify, analyze, and solve production-related challenges with innovative problem-solving.
- ERP Expertise: Skilled in ERP software (Microsoft Dynamics – Business Central) and timekeeping tools (Easy Clocking).
- Quality & Safety Focus: Commitment to maintaining quality standards, including Food Safety, GMP, and Personal Hygiene Policy.
What Should You Have:
- First Degree in Production & Operations Management or related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience, at the supervisory level, within a production plant in the manufacturing industry
