Sales Representative
The sales representative must have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at generating leads, building relationships, closing deals and meeting or exceeding sales targets. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with excellent communication skills, who has strong negotiating skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way.
Objectives of this role
- Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products and services, and markets in which we operate
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies
- Generate leads and build relationships by organizing daily work schedule to call on existing and potential customers
- Develop and implement action plans using comprehensive research, data analysis, and adjust sales techniques according to interactions and results in the field
Responsibilities
- Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure that they receive exceptional service and support
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential new sales opportunities
- Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all assigned categories
- Be able to conduct demos and handle objections
- Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations
- Must have the ability to travel
- Ensure any customer problems or complaints are professionally resolved expeditiously
Required skills and qualifications
- Three or more years of sales experience, including B2B sales
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
- Strong ability to balance persuasion with professionalism
Preferred skills and qualifications
- A Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or the equivalent
- Proven success rate at levels above sales quota
- Must own & operate a reliable motor vehicle
