Job Title: Recruiting Coordinator
Location: Royalton Vessence Barbados
Position Summary:
The Recruiting Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting the talent acquisition process for Royalton Vessence Barbados, ensuring the organization attracts, hires, and retains top talent to support the opening and ongoing operations of the resort. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, experience in coordinating recruitment activities, and a proactive approach to building a talented workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with department managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment plans.
- Post job openings on various platforms and manage candidate applications efficiently.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate suitability.
- Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and applicant data.
- Assist in onboarding new hires, including preparing employment documentation and orientation.
- Support employer branding initiatives to promote Royalton Vessence Barbados as an employer of choice.
- Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies, educational institutions, and other sourcing channels.
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and organizational policies throughout the hiring process.
- Provide regular updates to management on recruitment progress and challenges.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in recruitment, staffing, or human resources coordination.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of applicant tracking systems and HR software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach.
- Familiarity with hospitality or resort industry recruitment is a plus.
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in recruitment or HR coordination.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably within hospitality or service industries.
