Mechanic

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Mechanic to assemble, maintain and repair machinery, carts and boats on Ambergris Cay. You will be responsible for ensuring functionality and reliability of machines, engines, and mechanical systems.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and repair of boats and engines both inboard and outboard.
• Maintenance and repair to fleet of golf carts electric and gasoline.
• Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.
• Ability to trouble shoot & repair Hydrostatic & Hydraulics
• Ability to repair both aspects of power generators: mechanical and electrical.
• Perform routine maintenance of power generators.
• Trouble shoot & repair diesel fuel injection system.
• Chassis repair, including springs, shock & drive shaft.
• Assigning work orders as necessary and managing team.
• Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Ensure preventative maintenance checks are completed and maintain records.
• Must keep a clean working environment.
• keep shop equipment operational by calibrating electrical test equipment; following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance and follow-ups.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 10 years experience as a Mechanic
• Familiar with Microsoft applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
