Merchandiser Coordinator (Guyana)

Position Overview
We are seeking a Merchandising Coordinator to lead and oversee merchandising operations, ensuring effective execution, compliance with standards, and strong coordination between field teams and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise the day-to-day operations of the merchandising team.
- Develop and manage merchandising schedules and route plans.
- Ensure product availability, stock rotation, and display standards are consistently maintained.
- Monitor expiry dates, slow-moving items, and promotional execution, providing reports to Senior Management as required.
- Liaise with Sales, Warehouse, Distribution, and Marketing teams to resolve issues as required.
- Analyze merchandising reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Train, coach, and evaluate merchandisers’ performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and customer standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- At least four (4) years’ experience in merchandising or FMCG operations, with supervisory responsibility.
- Strong leadership, planning, organizational communication and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of inventory control, visual merchandising and retail operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
