About the Role
A well-established, member-focused financial institution is seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager to lead its strategic marketing, communications, and public relations functions. This leadership role is responsible for strengthening brand visibility, driving member engagement, supporting business growth, and ensuring consistent, high-quality communication across all platforms.
The successful candidate will oversee a small marketing team, collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, and play a key role in shaping the organization’s market presence and product offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Budget Management
- Develop and implement short- and long-term marketing strategies aligned with organizational objectives
- Prepare, manage, and monitor the annual marketing budget
- Track performance against targets and recommend corrective actions where needed
- Identify innovative marketing approaches based on market trends and insights
- Contribute to increased market share, brand awareness, and revenue growth
Marketing, Communications & Public Relations
- Lead the development and review of marketing and promotional materials (digital and traditional)
- Manage media relations, brand positioning, and corporate image
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns, launches, and events within budget
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels
Digital Marketing & Brand Presence
- Develop and execute content strategies that drive engagement and lead generation
- Oversee social media, email campaigns, and website content
- Promote effective use of digital tools to enhance brand visibility and member acquisition
Product & Business Development
- Support the design, development, and improvement of financial products aligned with strategic goals
- Manage product life cycles from concept through launch and refinement
- Assist with identifying new business opportunities, leads, and strategic partnerships
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, coach, and develop marketing team members
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and performance-driven work environment
- Oversee performance management, training, and professional development
- Provide leadership on cross-functional marketing initiatives
Stakeholder & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Serve as an internal marketing advisor to departments across the organization

Education & Community Outreach
- Support the planning and execution of education initiatives, including workshops, seminars, webinars, and community outreach events

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Minimum seven (7) years’ experience at a senior management level in marketing and/or sales
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
