Comcare Optical in Mandeville Jamaica, is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Optical Assistant Supervisor to support daily optical operations, oversee service quality, manage inventory, and assist in improving departmental efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and follow up on customer appointments
• Process and submit prescription glasses orders
• Support optical dispensing and quality assurance activities
• Perform minor frame adjustments and repairs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work environment
• Monitor and manage inventory of frames and optical supplies
• Collaborate with management to improve workflows and procedures
• Attend promotional or field activities as required
• Social media marketing

Requirements

• NVQ-J Level 2 (Business Administration, Customer Service, Supervisory Management, or equivalent)
• Certificate in Visual Acuity Testing
• At least 1 year experience in a similar role (asset)
• Working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of optical equipment (asset)
