Receive, check, and record all incoming inventory against invoices and delivery notes
Accurately issue stock to departments based on approved requisitions
Maintain up-to-date inventory records and stock cards/systems
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts
Identify, report, and investigate variances, shortages, or overages
Ensure proper storage, labeling, rotation (FIFO), and handling of goods
Monitor stock levels and alert management of low or overstock items
Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas
Support cost-control procedures and loss-prevention efforts
Comply with company policies, food safety, and audit requirements
Inventory Clerk – Requirements
1-2 Years minimum experience in inventory, stock control, or a similar role (hospitality or retail preferred)
Must be computer literate and have experience using MS Office, inventory software
Ability to follow inventory procedures and documentation processes
Familiarity with stock counts, requisitions, and invoice checking
Basic computer skills (POS, inventory systems, or spreadsheets an asset)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Honest, reliable, and accountable with company assets
Ability to lift, move, and organize stock as required
Knowledge of FIFO and basic food safety standards (preferred)
