Job Title: Customer Service Representative (CSR) / Relief Teller

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented CSR/Relief Teller who will primarily be responsible for providing friendly, helpful service by actively recommending and cross-selling PSCU’s products and services that best suit our members’ needs, while addressing all member inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
As the CSR/Relief Teller, you will:
- Greet members in person/on the telephone in a courteous, professional and timely manner while providing prompt and accurate service.
- Maintain an up-to-date and thorough knowledge on all credit union products and services along with their benefits, features and requirements.
- Evaluate new and existing member’s accounts while performing transactions and be proactive in identifying each member’s financial needs to offer the best products and services to cross sell.
- Promote, explain and cross sell Credit Union products, establishes all services to potential and existing members to meet their financial needs.
- Respond in a professional manner to members' inquiries, requests or problems.
- Process all member requests such as new accounts, statements, account updates, fixed deposits, withdrawals, transfers etc. promptly, accurately and in compliance with the Credit Union’s policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all internal controls and established policies including AML/CFT.
- Consistently achieve threshold levels of sales goals and member service performance standards.
- Engage/Assist members with the online facility and mobile app; issue debit cards as required.
- Assist with the processing of payroll and standing orders and the deposit of these cheques.
- Register and distribute incoming/outgoing correspondence.
- Prepare assigned reports within the stipulated deadline.
- File documents in accordance with predetermined standards.
What We’re Looking For.
- Associate’s Degree in Business Management or a related field.
- Certificate in Customer Service.
- At least 2 years of experience in Customer Service or a related area.
- At least 1-year cash handling experience.
- Reliable and able to accommodate a flexible work schedule.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Account reconciliations
- Ability to cross sell products and services.
- Proficient on MS Office and Emortelle software.
