RESTAURANT MANAGER
The restaurant manager is responsible for coordinating and controlling the activities of the entire restaurant operation. He/she is required to ensure the highest level of service is provided to guests and that dining room standards are maintained.
Specific Requirements Duties of the Position Include:
- Extensive knowledge of food & beverage operations
- Participation in the development of the annual budget for the department
- The ability to manage stress and long working hours
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Being highly motivated, self-directed, and results-driven
- Administering the continuous training and development programme within the department
- The ability to lead & motivate others
Qualifications and Experience:
- First Degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent
- At least five years of management experience in fine dining restaurants
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
