Our client is seeking a dynamic and innovative Organisation Development Specialist who is passionate about leading transformative organisational development initiatives that accelerate the organisation's evolution, supporting the successful implementation of the mandate and empowering people to achieve their fullest potential.
The Role
Reporting to the Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer the Organisation Development Specialist in line with the transformation agenda, will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the organisation by designing and optimising the organisational structure, shaping the organisation's culture, enhancing organisational effectiveness, and implementing strategies for sustainable growth as follows:
- Analyse organisational structures, processes, and culture to identify development opportunities.
- Conduct ongoing reviews and update job functions and job descriptions.
- Lead the implementation of changes to organisational structure.
- Collaborate with leadership and teams across the organisation to assess needs, design impactful interventions, and drive change initiatives that align with the business objectives.
- Facilitate team-building sessions, leadership development programmes, and training workshops.
- Support talent management, performance improvement, and succession planning initiatives.
- Measure the effectiveness of development programmes and recommend improvements.
- Advise leaders on best practices for engagement, communication, and organisational effectiveness.
Preferred Profile
- Masters Degree in Human Resource Management, Organisational Development, Business Administration, Public Administration or related discipline.
- Professional certification in SHRM-SCP and change management (PROSCI) would be an asset.
- Five years proven experience in organisational development or HR.
- Knowledge of data analytics tools to track and measure the effectiveness of organisational development initiatives.
- Strong analytical, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Creative thinker with a passion for continuous improvement.
