Supreme Route Limited, a subsidiary of Supreme Ventures Limited, is seeking to employ a Commercial Manager. Responsible for the strategic management of all retail partners within the assigned territory, including the acquisition of new partners and the development of existing accounts. This role focuses on building strong, customer-centric relationships while ensuring that all partners operate in line with established quality standards, policies, and best practices. The Commercial Manager is fully accountable for driving revenue growth and overall commercial performance across the assigned territories and product portfolio.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Channel Operations:
- Manage the overall retailer lifecycle from the Identification and recruitment of suitable retailers for the sustained channel expansion for all products provided by the SVL group of companies.
- Ensure all retailers’ queries/issues are resolved as per established SLA.
- Ensure all external branding is installed and maintained as per company standards and SLA.
- Maintain good professional relationship with all key internal and external stakeholders
- Lead and manage the VLT business’s daily commercial and operational activities.
- Oversee deployment, maintenance, repairs and performance tracking of VLT machines across retail locations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as machine utilization, sales volumes, uptime, and retailer collections.
- Support rollout and evaluation of pilot programs, new product launches, and technology upgrades.
- Drive retailer engagement, training, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Identify new retail opportunities and lead expansion into untapped markets or high-traffic locations in alignment with business objectives.
Revenue and Account Management:
- Ensure all assigned revenue targets per product are met and exceeded for the territory under management.
- Gather channel insights and information from the trade to include updates, highlights, challenges, new trends and competitive intelligence.
- Manage and maintain excellent relationships with retailers in the assigned territory and act as the main liaison between the retailers and key stakeholders.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase market share, drive player participation, and maximize revenue.
- Create strategies to mitigate against losing locations to the competitors
- Lead commercial analysis, forecasting, and report on competitor activities in trade.
- Prepare business reports, performance reviews, and commercial insights for executive management.
- Collaborate with Marketing to design retailer promotions and player campaigns that drive sales.
- Assess and recommend technology, supplier, or process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Receivables and Collections:
- Monitor and manage the accounts of all retailers in the assigned territory, to ensure payments for invoices are remitted as per established SLAs to avoid channel disruption.
- Support the retailer billing and reconciliation process to ensure all retailer invoices are accurate and all requests for account reconciliation are executed within the established SLAs.
Compliance:
- Lead all efforts for retailer legal and regulatory lifecycle ensuring all retailers under management are compliant with all relevant regulations and policies as required for the products and services being offered. (BGCL, BOJ etc).
- Maintain audit readiness, including documentation of warehouse inventory, VLT installations, agreements, and location and machine performance data.
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Marketing or related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Retail Sales, Account Management and/or Business Development environment. Previous sector experience will be considered an asset.
