Core Functions:
The Assistant Manager – Real Estate supports the development and execution of real estate investment strategies and oversees their day-to-day implementation across all NCB Capital Markets–managed portfolios. These include, but are not limited to: i) NCBCM ii) NCB Cayman Limited iii) NCB Capital Markets (Barbados) Limited iv) NCB Capital Markets (Cayman) Limited. Core functions include:
• Assist in developing and executing real estate investment strategies through market analysis, forecasting, and quantitative assessments.
• Conduct fundamental, economic, and company analyses to support investment decisions and enhance portfolio returns.
• Evaluate transaction risks, prepare supporting reports, and ensure all real estate activities comply with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage relationships with property managers, brokers, attorneys, regulatory bodies, and project teams (architects, QS, engineers).
• Oversee procurement and execution of capital expenditure and development projects, ensuring adherence to approved scope, timelines, and budgets.
• Negotiate lease terms, manage lease administration, and ensure timely preparation, review, and completion of required real estate documentation.
• Monitor property-related income and expenses, including invoicing, disbursements, and reporting, to ensure timely financial flows for all managed portfolios.
Qualifications and Experience:
Either (i):
- Masters in Finance, Economics, Banking or any Quantitative Field of Study and at least two (2) years’ working experience in the securities industry.
Or (ii):
- First Degree in Economics, Finance or Mathematics or any Quantitative Field of Study and at least four (4) years’ working experience in the securities industry.
- Project Management is an asset.
