The Compensation and payroll specialist provides support to the HR team on matters pertaining to talent, organization and compensation. In addition, the incumbent supports the HR Director with the department’s budgeting activities, best estimates, accruals and cost control.
Payroll
Submission of payroll inputs for the Confidential Payroll of TCL Jamaica and Trinidad, along with validating all payroll documents. Providing payroll documents to the Tax Consultants for employees on assignment and expats.
Organization
Assessment of the organization’s structure, preparing relevant cost details and proposals for restructuring and other changes.
Productivity
Monitor productivity implementation.
HR Budget
Provide and assess best estimates for HR expenses for the coming year as well as comparing estimate versus real in monthly variance exercise.
Cost Control
Correct classification and charging of accounts in Cost Report.
Local Talent Development
Implementation of action plans to develop local talent in the BU.
Talent Review
Plan, execute and review each Departments Talent Review and prepare relevant action plans.
Employee Documents Database
Uploading all Employee Documents to the Company Sharepoint to preserve the records and for easy accessibility of approved staff.
