Position Summary
The Technical Sales Representative – Paint Sales will be responsible for providing technical guidance, sales support, and customer service for paint and coating products.
The role combines technical knowledge, client interaction, and internal coordination, while working closely with management and approved suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical advice and support on paint and coating products sales
- Assist sales team and clients with:
- product selection
- Specifications
- application methods
- Support preparation of:
- quotations
- technical documents
- project-related information
- Liaise internally with management on ongoing projects
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping
- Maintain professional relationships with contractors and customers
- Work within established company procedures and reporting structures
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Work Experience in paint sales, coatings, construction materials, or a related field is required.
- Strong computer literacy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
Preferred Attributes
- Based in or familiar with the Central / South area
- Tertiary Level Education and qualification will be an asset
- Project Management Skills and Experience will be an asset
- Practical, mature, and reliable
- Comfortable dealing with contractors, architects, and clients
- Understands professional boundaries and confidentiality
Work Schedule (6 days per week)
- Monday–Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Saturday: 8:00am – 2:00pm
