POSITION:                                      MANAGER – SENIOR BRAND

REPORTS TO:                                   DIRECTOR – COMMERCIAL

SUPERVISION GIVEN TO:  MARKETING OFFICER, DIGITAL MARKETING OFFICER, ADVERTISING OFFICER, MARKETING ADMINISTRATOR, MARKETING ASSISTANT

Principal Accountabilities:

• Develop and execute marketing objectives, strategies, advertising and other campaigns, store launches, promotions and other marketing activities and plans for assigned portfolios to attain customer traffic, product volumes and retail sales goals.
• Analyze, monitor and communicate competitor activity to maintain/ improve brand awareness and customer perception and support attainment of targets.
• Forecast/ evaluate and report return on marketing investment prior to and post implementation of major regional and local initiatives to ensure achievement of goals including traffic, product volumes and retail sales.
• Identify and negotiate key sponsorship and advertising opportunities to ensure operational efficiency.
• Drive performance by managing, coaching and motivating the Marketing team. Mentor and manage junior brand managers and marketing associates. Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Perform any other related duty that may be assigned to you by your management line to ensure effective and efficient operations.
• Conduct market research trends to identify growth opportunities. Translate insights into actionable brand initiatives and product positioning.
• Oversee creative development for advertising, digital, and in-store campaigns. Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels (TV, print, digital, social, retail).
• Collaborate with merchandising and sales teams to align brand strategy with business objectives. Partner with branch operations to enhance in-store customer experience.
• Track KPIs such as brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales impact.Optimize campaigns based on performance data and ROI analysis.

Qualification / Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 7–10 years of brand management or marketing experience, ideally in retail or consumer goods.
• Proven success in leading large-scale campaigns and managing budgets.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency and data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent communication in market research, leadership, and project management abilities.
• Experience with digital marketing, e-commerce, and omnichannel retail strategies.
