Human Resources Administrator
We are seeking a highly organised, detail oriented Human Resources Administrator to support our HR operations. This role provides comprehensive administrative support across all HR functions, including recruitment, performance management, payroll, benefits administration, health & safety and initiatives designed to enhance productivity and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with all stages of the recruitment process to ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience.
- Prepare employment contracts and support the onboarding process as required.
- Manage the performance review schedule and follow up to ensure timely completion of reviews
- Develop, update and maintain company policies; ensure employees sign all relevant policies and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare weekly wages and compile, analyse and report on overtime and other HR data.
- Coordinate and manage the administration of the health and life Insurance plans.
- Working with the Health & Safety Committee, manage safety and health policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.
- Assist with planning and coordination of training sessions and company wide meetings and social events
- Update and maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
Requirements
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Previous experience in HR administration or a related administrative role
- Knowledge of relevant employment laws would be an asset
- Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems would be an asset
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
