POSITION SUMMARY
The Trade Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing the Channel Strategy, in line with the Consumer marketing strategy developed, as applicable to various channels. Works closely with the Sales Team to ensure flawless on-time execution of the category plans to drive business performance results. Evaluates investments made on key activities for the assigned categories, leveraging cross-functional efficiencies and value-chain.

A DAY IN THE LIFE …
- Develop shopper focus and integrate insights for commercial planning while segmenting businesses based on consumer needs and prioritizing category opportunities.
- Create a clear category vision and commercial activity plans, collaborating with sales and business development teams to refine strategies.
- Define priority channels, validate resources, and create activation plans with clear point-of-sale visions for key channels.
- Monitor competitor strategies and incorporate findings into planning cycles, driving the ICP process and ensuring cross-functional alignment.
- Develop a commercial activity calendar and tailor channel investment strategies to maximize growth potential.
- Coordinate with the Brand Activation Team for flawless execution of activity plans and evaluate promotions while maintaining a learning log for key activities.
WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL
- Minimum 3 years of commercial experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences; Master’s in Management Studies is a plus.
- Familiarity with the retail and food and beverage sectors.
- Intermediate data analysis skills, including proficiency in Excel.
- Strong negotiation and rapport-building skills.
- Effective presentation skills and experience with PowerPoint.
