SM Jaleel & Company Limited, a leader in beverage manufacturing and distribution, is seeking a detail‑oriented Accounts Supervisor to oversee daily accounting operations at our Diamond facility. This pivotal role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and effective leadership of the accounting team.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff to drive accuracy, efficiency, and performance.
Financial Oversight: Manage accounts receivable, payroll, inventory, reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring.
Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
Transaction Verification: Review invoices, payments, journal entries, and sales settlement reports for accuracy.
Cashier Department Supervision: Provide direct oversight of cashier operations and settlement reporting.
Audit Readiness: Prepare documentation to support internal and external audits.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to strengthen financial accuracy and efficiency.
Management Reporting: Deliver timely and precise financial updates to senior leadership.
Candidate Profile
We’re looking for someone who demonstrates:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel.

Qualifications & Experience
Nationality: Must be a Guyanese citizen.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience: 3–5 years in accounting, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
