DRIVER - COACH BUS
The driver will need to be patient and level-headed to be able to deal directly with individuals of varying backgrounds and cope in a position that can in some ways become monotonous. S/He will be responsible for transporting passengers to and from destinations on a predefined route while meeting scheduled pick-up and drop-off times. He/she must also be careful and skilled with the ability to traverse heavy traffic and ensure the passengers arrive comfortably and safely.
Specific Knowledge & Skills Required:
- Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Have the ability to multitask and work in a multi-cultural environment
- Have a pleasant personality and demonstrate a high level of professionalism
- Able to focus on details and ensure the safety of guests at all times
- Able to maintain the vehicle and all its components in a pristine condition, at all times
- Highly confidential, intelligent and well-groomed
- Be flexible and able to adjust as the need arises.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High School/Secondary School Certificate
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience in the Hospitality/Tourism Industry is an asset
- Holder of a valid open general PPV driver’s license
- Must be able to drive a coach bus.
- Transportation Authorization Badge is an asset
- Team Jamaica Certified
- Valid Police Record
