What You’ll Do:
✔ Process correspondence from clients, insurers, and others
✔ Update and maintain records for all communication and action taken.
✔ Prepare and provide Clients with cover note(s)/certificates
✔ Maintain accurate records in our software systems
✔ Ensure compliance with FSC and other regulations and organizational
policies
✔ Assist with premium calculations for preparation of Market Responses and
Proposals
✔ Dispatch documents to relevant persons based on instructions: -
- Renewal Notices
- Market Responses
- Proposals
- Registers
- Specifications
- Endorsements
- Registration Papers
- Valuation/Engineers Report
- Medical Reports
- Invoice/Binders
✔ Prepare Renewal Notices, Brokers’ Slips, Market Responses, Proposals,
Registers, Specifications, Mortgage Letters to appropriate persons/entities
for new and renewal business, etc.

What You Bring:
🔹 4 (four) years working experience in an Insurance Brokering Services
sector or within the Insurance sector.
🔹 First degree from a tertiary level institution preferably in Management
Studies.
🔹 Jamaica Insurance Diploma, comparable qualifications or pursuing.
🔹 Registered as a Sales Representative for the relevant classes of insurance

- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Self-motivated and demonstrate personal responsibility and accountability
Technical Competencies
- Good knowledge of insurance broking business
- Good knowledge of all classes of insurance.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good knowledge of Broking Software System.
- Good knowledge of office systems
- Compliance with organization and regulatory policies and procedures
- Compliance with Anti-Money Laundering and Proceeds of Crime Act.
