Qualifications and Experience
- Associate degree in Management Studies, Marketing or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
- FLMI or equivalent professional designation will be an asset
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a leadership or management position
- Experience in Life Insurance Sales will be an asset
Specialized Skills and Techniques
- Strong knowledge of life insurance and related products
- Excellent communication, coaching and team building skills
- Goal-orientated mindset with a commitment to professional integrity and service excellence
Key Responsibilities
As a Unit Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping a motivated, professional, and results-driven sales team. Responsibilities include:
- Lead and Inspire: Provide strong leadership to ensure team members fully understand our products, services, business practices, sales targets, and service standards.
- Drive Results: Ensure the team consistently achieves activity targets as outlined in the Company’s strategic plan.
- Grow the Team: Support the growth of the organization by achieving recruiting targets and overseeing the development and onboarding of new Sales Agents.
- Coach for Success: Deliver continuous coaching skills training, and mentorship to support agents’ professional development and sales performance.
- Performance Management: Set clear KPIs, monitor performance and complete all required performance reports and improvement plan. Provide timely, constructive feedback to encourage accountability and excellence.
