Supreme Ventures Services Limited, a subsidary of Supreme Ventures Limited, is seeking to identify an experienced Finance Officer - Treasury, to join the Finance Team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, identifying and resolving discrepancies, minimizing errors, and maintaining clear, transparent financial records. Success in this position requires strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting and treasury principles.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
- Execute daily cash transactions, including wires, ACH payments, intercompany transfers, and FX sourcing and purchasing.
- Maintain adequate bank account funding, ensure no accounts are overdrawn, and transfer excess funds to interest-bearing accounts weekly and at month-end.
- Monitor and reconcile bank account activity, investigate discrepancies, and ensure all bank entries, transfers, loan payments, and USD transactions are accurately recorded in SAGE for all companies.
- Manage loan and loan processing fee schedules, prepare quarterly loan movement reports, and post all loan interest journals.
- Support preparation and completion of bank reconciliations within deadlines.
- Assist with managing the Group’s investment portfolio and related journals.
- Receipt cheques, prepare lodgments, and verify the accuracy of all financial transactions.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and banks to resolve issues, obtain required information, and address discrepancies.
- Prepare regular reconciliation status reports and ad-hoc reports for management and audit purposes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- ACCA LEVEL I or B.Sc. Accounting/Finance from a recognized tertiary institution
- Microsoft Office Suite
- At least 2 years experience in the finance field
- Experience using SAGE 300, an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required; must be comfortable.

- Strong listening and comprehension skills, as well as the ability to develop and clearly articulate a perspective.
