• Junior Planner:
  • Coordinate the pick-up and drop off of goods and materials for various projects.
  • Generate and manage weekly/daily schedules for all drivers/bearers.
  • Assist with daily/weekly/monthly equipment maintenance schedule.
  • Manage and update daily the HVI Maintenance software.
  • Manage and update the inventory module of the HVI Maintenance software.
  • Assist with the procurement of parts and supplies for all equipment maintenance.
  • Write monthly reports on work done by the Bearers and oneself and submit to the Director and manager of Technical Services
• Scale Operations:
  • Operate the scale to accurately weigh incoming materials such as bulk cement, 3/8" stone, 1/2" stone, wash sand, Limestone (Marl), steel, and point-to-point trucks.
  • Verify that the correct material is being weighed for proper documentation.
  • Coordinate with site personnel to ensure materials are directed to its required offloading location.
  • Enter each scale receipt and weight measurement into the database on a daily basis.
  • Prepare weekly check-off reports and collaborate with the accounts department to resolve any discrepancies in material weights.
  • Monitor and verify the accuracy of weight data to ensure that discrepancies are detected and corrected promptly.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all transactions and reports for auditing and review purposes.
  • Liaise between the operations team and the accounts department to ensure smooth workflow and information transfer.
  • Report any operational issues or concerns regarding material discrepancies to management.
• Any other related duty that may be assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Five (5) CSEC subjects including Mathematics and English
• Competent in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of the HVI Maintenance Software is an asset
• At least one (1) year’s experience in a similar position
