Job Summary:
The Facilities Manager oversees the efficient operation, maintenance, and safety of the company’s corporate office, main distribution warehouse, satellite sites, and surrounding grounds. The role ensures all facilities are well maintained, compliant with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and fully support the company’s operations. Responsibilities include managing maintenance staff, coordinating preventive maintenance, repairs, and renovation projects, maintaining cleaning schedules, implementing waste reduction initiatives, and conducting regular inspections to ensure operational reliability and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise maintenance and repair of building systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for service, repairs, and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Manage & monitor facility budgets, expenses, and procurement.
• Oversee security, access control, and safety protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve issues proactively.
• Support logistics operations by maintaining proper storage conditions.
• Lead emergency response planning and drills.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with warehouse management to optimize facility usage and workflow.
Required Qualification, Experience, Knowledge, and skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Operations, and or/ Facilities Management.
• At least five (5) years’ experience in a managerial position plus experience with distribution networks
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Ability to meet agreed deadlines
