We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to support our Logistics Department. This role focuses heavily on outgoing shipments, dispatch coordination, and maintaining high order accuracy throughout the logistics workflow.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily dispatch schedules, ensuring all outgoing orders are prepared and released on time.
Pick and verify items accurately against pick lists and delivery notes before packing.
Prepare shipping documentation, delivery manifests, and dispatch logs for drivers and couriers.
Organize and stage outgoing shipments in the designated logistics areas for efficient loading.
Support route planning by preparing orders in priority sequence for delivery runs and customer pickups.
Process customer collections, ensuring proper identification, documentation, and product verification.
Maintain accurate records for daily and monthly deliveries, dispatch volumes, and customer collections.
Communicate order discrepancies, shortages, or delays to the Logistics Supervisor promptly.
Work closely with drivers, dispatch personnel, and customer service teams to ensure smooth outbound operations.
Ensure the logistics and staging areas remain organized, safe, and compliant with operational standards.
Requirements
Associate Degree/Diploma - Logistics
Minimum 2 years experience in logistics, warehouse dispatch, or outbound operations.
Strong understanding of dispatch flow, order accuracy, and shipment preparation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, data entry, sorting/filtering, creating simple reports).
Ability to use handheld scanners or warehouse systems (training provided).
Strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy in documentation.
Physically able to lift, move, and stage goods safely.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable, organized, and able to work under tight timelines.
